Bruce Barrett or as I called him growing up Moose, Bruce was the closest thing i ever had to anything like a father, when Bruce my mom and I lived in our log cabin in grafton mass, moose was always the one there holding back my hair when i was throwing up, or fixing my door but i was angry and slammed it, not only was he my father figure he was my bestfriend the person i went to when i got in the smalles fights with my mom and december 2016 a month before he passed away my mom and him were back together and new years eve was the last time i saw him i can still smell the campfire smell when he hugged me and when i told him ill see you when you get back from texas i love you i had no idea that would be my last time seeing him, when my mom picked me up from school and i heard the news all i thought is i lost my bestfriend and my biggest role model
I miss you so much Moose
