Obituary for Ping Cheung Yeung

East Windsor – Ping Cheung Yeung, 80, a 12 year resident of East Windsor, CT formerly of Waterbury, CT died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Autumn Lake Healthcare in New Britain, CT on the evening of April 14, 2017.

Born February 2, 1937 in Fuzhou, China, he was the son of the late Yang Chi Xiang and Chen Mei Ying. Mr. Yeung was a successful restauranteur throughout his long career and most recently worked at the family business, Mei Tzu Sushi Bar and Kitchen in East Windsor, CT.

Mr. Yeung is survived by his beloved son, Ki’yen Yeung of East Windsor; his loving daughters, Katy Yang of Millbrook, NY and Amy Yang of Millerton, NY; a dear stepson, Gino Sarcomo of the United States Airforce; seven grandchildren; his beloved sister of NYC and his former wife, Chris Lin. He was predeceased by a son, Micheal Yeung and a son in law, Wu Yang of Millerton.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 9am-10:45am at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. The funeral procession will form at 10:45am at the funeral home and depart for a graveside service at 11:15am at Irondale Cemetery, Route 22, Millerton, NY.
