Obituary for Patricia L. Perusse
Patricia Lorraine Perusse, 76, a five month resident of Ancram, NY and formerly a 16 year resident of Elloree, SC and a 30 year resident of East Fishkill, NY died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her home in Ancram. Mrs. Perusse worked for Texaco as a switchboard operator, at IBM in Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill in the manufacturing division and as a pharmacy technician for K-Mart and A&P.
Born February 23, 1940 in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Teresa (Donnelly) Sutherland. She attended and graduated from Beacon High School in Beacon, NY. On September 11, 1970 at the New Hackensack Reformed Church, she married James Joseph Perusse. Mr. Perusse survives at home.
Mrs. Perusse was a former member of the East Fishkill Rescue Squad. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her loving grandchildren and her family.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her son, Joseph S. Perusse and his wife Jaclyn of Millerton, NY and her daughter Teresa “Teri” Victor of Goose Creek, SC; her loving grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Victor, Natalie Olivia Perusse and Lillian Elizabeth Perusse; two great grandchildren, Adrionna and Anthony Hughes and several nieces and nephews and dear friends, Frank and Amiee Duncan.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5-8 pm at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10 am. Rev. George Brennan will officiate. Burial will follow at Irondale Cemetery, Millerton, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Community Rescue Squad, 283 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516.
