Conway, SC – Rosemarie Flinn, 84, a three year resident of Conway, SC and a sixty year resident of Millerton, NY died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina following a brief illness. Rosemarie had a long career with the Webutuck Central School District in Amenia, NY from 1966 until June 30, 1999 when she retired as head cook from the school’s cafeteria.

Born February 10, 1937 in Bremerhaven, Germany she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Anna Schmidt. She was educated in Germany and married Ronald A. Flinn on May 4, 1957 in Germany. Mr. Flinn died on March 29, 1994. Rosemarie enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends and relaxing on beach in her spare time. For many years she volunteered at “Thriftique” a thrift shop in Millerton. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family and friends.

Rosemarie is survived by her son, Gary A. Flinn and his wife Christine of Clinton Corners, NY; two daughters, Teresa “Terri” Schaab and Phyllis Gapinski and her husband Ralph all of Conway, SC and two grandsons, Steve Gapinski of Conway and Ryan Flinn of Clinton Corners. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Kenneth Schaab and her four siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY. A graveside service will take place at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Irondale Cemetery in Millerton, NY. Pastor William Mayhew will officiate. Burial will follow.
