I knew Bob as far back as I can remember. When I was a very young boy, he ran the Texaco station for my Grandfather. Later on he became my Dad's helper on the drilling rig, he then went on to be a Driller himself. When I moved back to the area after high school, I became Bob's helper on the rig before going into the Air Force.

Although he could be rough and grumpy at times, I remember his laugh. To me, Bob was always like the gruff uncle who would say 'here, pull my finger...' and laugh and laugh about it.

You will be missed my old friend, travel well "Wild Turkey", don't let "Clarkie" get you into to much trouble between now and when we meet again.
