Pine Plains – Regina Yvette McKay, 73, a five year resident of Pine Plains, NY died peacefully on April 25, 2022 at home in Pine Plains. Regina retired from the City of New York Police Department (NYPD) where she worked in the uniformed patrol division as a police officer.

Born September 16, 1948 in Manhattan, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Kathleen Jones. She was educated in New York City and Regina was a card carrying member of the New York City Police Department Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

She is survived by her longtime friends, Susan Tate-Hutt and her husband Lee of Pine Plains and several friends.

There are no calling hours. Cremation has taken place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.
