Obituary for Louise E. Murphy
Hudson – Louise E. Murphy, 67, a resident of Hudson, NY since 2004 died peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Murphy worked as a certified nursing assistant with Unlimited Care Inc. based in Hudson for over thirteen years.
Born July 6, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of the late Charles “Chuck” and Gwendolyn (Finkle) Gary. She attended schools in Poughkeepsie, NY and locally at Webutuck High School in Amenia, NY. On July 15, 2006 in Red Hook, NY she married Patrick Murphy. Mr. Murphy survives at home in Hudson. Mrs. Murphy was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed bowling in her spare time. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family and many friends.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Murphy is survived by her son, Richard “Rich” LaMere, Jr. and his fiancé Cathy of Germantown, NY and her daughter, Becky Revette and husband Matt of Livingston, NY; five grandchildren, Brittney LaMere, Daniel Revette, Taylor Sartori, Matthew Revette, Jr. and Brionna LaMere and two great grandchildren, Damien Craver and Everleigh Revette. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Skylar Waldorf.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 5-7pm at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546.
