Obituary for Loleta Ann Johnson

Milan- Loleta Ann Johnson, 72, a forty year resident of Milan, NY died peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. Loleta was a talented and gifted artist throughout her life. She owned and operated Grey Daze Art Studio in Milan, NY for many years.

Born July 24, 1951 in Glens Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Allen Gordon Sinsabaugh and Dola Fay Hamilton. On June 20, 1976 in Upstate New York she married Arthur Johnson. Mr. Johnson survives at home in Milan. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed wood carving, crafting and YouTube in her spare time. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband and her children.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by five children, Arthur “Butch” Johnson of Millerton, NY, Herbert Johnson of Amenia, NY, Richard Buck of New Haven, CT, Floyd Robinson of Elizaville, NY and Brandi Scott of Highland, NY; two sisters, Glenda Canavan of Schaghticoke, NY and Elsa Perkins of Albany, NY; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Sinsabaugh and her sister, Mary Starteri.
