Hyde Park – Jeffrey Charles Clapper, 61, a three year resident of Hyde Park, NY formerly of Dover Plains, NY died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his home in Hyde Park. Mr. Clapper worked for Hipotronics, Inc. for many years and most recently for High Voltage, Inc. based in Copake, NY where he was an electrical technician.

Born June 22, 1958 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Charles E. and Sandra “Sam” (Morrison) Clapper. Mr. Clapper was a graduate of Dover High School and served in the United States Airforce.
He is survived by his brother, Lee Clapper and his wife Denise of Millerton, NY and his sister, Dawn LaRock of Dover Plains, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Penni Clapper Hough.
