Obituary for Jane Lovett Chester
Ancramdale – Jane Lovett Chester, 86, a fifty year resident of Ancramdale, NY died unexpectedly on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY following a brief illness. Jane worked as a housekeeper for many years at Fairfield Hills State Hospital in Newtown, CT.
Born February 22, 1937 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of the late John and Phyllis M. (Morris) Marsh-Edwards. She was a graduate of local area schools. She shared the last fifty two years with her loving companion Arthur Chester Bowolick who survives in Ancramdale. Jane is also survived by a son, Todd Bowolick and his wife Vicki of Windsor,Colorado; a daughter-in-law, Kelly Bowolick of Reno, NV; her brother, Thomas Marsh of Florida; her sister Debbie of South Carolina and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jane was also predeceased by a son, Arthur C. Bowolick of Reno, NV.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services and burial will take place at Irondale Cemetery in Millerton, on December 15, 2023 at 11am. Pastor William Mayhew will officiate.
