Jack Gerard  Silvernale
Millerton - Jack Gerard Silvernale passed away on July 28, 2018 after a short but aggressive battle with cancer. Born on September 7, 1958 in Anniston, Alabama, Jack served from 1978 to 1980 in the United States Army. On June 11, 1983 he married Veronica “Ronnie” Hosier.

Jack was an active member of the Berkshire Beagle Club, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all, he loved being a provider for his family and friends, and taking care of his mother. Jack was the kind of man who gave his last dollar to someone in need, to buy unnecessary pets for his grandson, and to feed his great niece’s reading addiction.

Jack leaves behind many dearly loved family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Veronica “Ronnie” (Hosier) Silvernale of Millerton, NY, daughter Jaime “Turk” Silvernale and fiancé William MacDaniel Sr., beloved grandson William “Bud” MacDaniel Jr, of Amenia, NY and his mother Dorothy “Dot” (Haye) Silvernale of Millerton, NY.

He is also survived by his sister Barbara “Boop” and Jim Lattrell of Sharon, CT, niece Danielle Lattrell of Salisbury, CT, nephew Kyle Lattrell of Canaan, CT, his brother Mike Silvernale of Sharon, CT, and nephew Michael “Mikey” Silvernale of Myrtle Beach, SC.

He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Diane (Schultz) Hosier of Millerton, NY, niece Shannon “Dupa” Mersand, beloved great nice Anastasia of Wassaic, NY, niece Becki “Bec” and Jeremy Kipling, and beloved great niece Sophie of Natick, MA, nephew Sean Hosier, great nieces Taylor, Octaviana and Auriella Hosier and great nephew Owen Hosier, of Copake, NY.

He also leaves behind John Dennis who was like a brother to him and his wife Kathy of Millerton, NY, dear friends, Kathy Gibblin of Millerton, NY, Ron Gibblin of Virginia, adopted Aunt Barbara (Jim) McGhee, of Salisbury, CT, and Nikki Mace of Wassaic, NY who was like a second daughter. He is also survived by dear friends Bob and the late Ruth Fullerton of Millerton

He was predeceased by his father Jack Silvernale and a brother-in-law Bradley Hosier Jr.
