Wingdale- Edmund C. McNeil, 64, a lifelong area resident, died on May 6, 2019 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Mr. McNeil was a self-employed truck driver.

Ed was a family guy who enjoyed BBQ's, hunting and had a passion for deep sea fishing. Ed was the greatest Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and most of all a friend to all.

Born on January 8, 1955 in Sharon, CT he was the son of the late Elias and Margaret (Potter) McNeil. He is survived by his two daughters, Alysha McNeil and her companion, Jon LeJeune, of Hillsdale, NY and Cynthia McNeil-Metcalf and her husband, Robert, of Wingdale, NY. He is also survived by a sister, Sally Pardee of Hyde Park, NY and four grandchildren, Ethan LeJeune, Emilylou and Samuel McNeil and Devin Metcalf. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Mr. McNeil was predeceased by three brothers, Albert, George and Seth McNeil and three sisters, Madeline and Betty McNeil and Dorothy Rogers.
