Obituary for Donna Mary DeWitt (Parsons)
Donna Mary DeWitt, 64, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. DeWitt was currently a home health care provider at her home in Millerton, a career that spanned over 20 years. She was also a certified nursing assistant.
Born December 11, 1955 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of Elizabeth Milton of Stanfordville, NY and the late Wm. Parsons, Sr. On August 16, 1986 in Sharon, CT she married Michael Lee DeWitt. Mr. DeWitt survives at home. Mrs. DeWitt enjoyed gardening and crafts and was an avid animal lover.
In addition to her husband, Michael, Mrs. DeWitt is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hoage of Salisbury, CT; two stepchildren, Cheri Sitarz of Maine and Michael DeWitt of Alabama; six grandchildren, Kirstyn, Alanna, Amanda, Samantha, Corey and Zachary; three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Trinity and Addilyn; five siblings, Denny, David, Billy, Laurie and Kathy and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Scott D.
