Obituary for Arthur C. "Skip" Dunn
Millerton – Arthur C. Dunn, 73, a longtime Millerton, NY resident died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Sharon Hospital. Mr. Dunn retired from the Wassaic Developmental Center where he worked as a therapy aide for over twenty-five years.
Born November 27, 1944 in Wallkill, NY he was the son of the late William and Helen Dunn. Arthur graduated from Valley Central High School and married Caroline E. Seigel on August 14, 1983 in Dover Plains. Mrs. Dunn died January 22, 2004.
Arthur was a longtime member of the Millerton Grange and the Dover-Amenia Masonic Lodge and enjoyed photography in this spare time.
Survivors include his stepdaughter; Marguerite Walker of Stanfordville; his sister, Betty VanHuesen; a nephew, Michael VanHuesen; three grandchildren, Kristin Charles-Scaringi, Michael Charles and Kara Turner; five great grandchildren, Jane Scaringi, Emmett Charles and Kyla, Carl and Peyton Turner. He was predeceased by his brother, William Dunn.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-3pm at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. Funeral services will follow at 3pm at the funeral home.
