Obituary for Antoinette Margaret "Toni" Crawford (Smith)
Salisbury- Antoinette “Toni” Margaret Crawford, 71, a lifelong area resident died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her home in Salisbury, CT surrounded by her loving children following a courageous battle with cancer. Toni worked as a hairdresser at Noble Horizons in Salisbury and was also a produce clerk at LaBonne’s Market in Salisbury.
Born June 20, 1948 in Great Barrington, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Shirley (Curtis) Smith, Sr. She was a 1966 graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, CT and Torrington Beauty Academy. She was a past member of the Lakeville Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary and a longtime parishioner of Saint Martin of Tours Church of St. Mary in Lakeville, CT. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Toni is survived by three children, Michael White and his wife Sarah of Salisbury, CT, Christopher White of Salisbury, NC and Danielle Murphy and her husband Robert of Elizabeth City, NC; her brother, Robert A. Smith, Jr. of Salisbury, CT and her sister, Michelle Salerno and her husband Anthony of Waterbury, CT; her grandchildren, Mercedes, Austin, Caleb, Jacob, Alexander, Summer and Gage and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 9-11am at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. A funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home.
